Help us keep the beauty and joy of Mexican folklorico dancing available to kids and visible in our community!

Ballet Folklorico Ritmo Alegre is a Federally recognized 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization. All financial contributions are tax deductible.

Many of our dancers are from low-income families and can afford to pay only a modest monthly tuition for their dance classes. We depend on contributions from individuals and local business to help us keep our studio doors open and our performances available.

Funds donated to Ritmo Alegre help pay for partial tuition scholarships and help buy colorful new regional costumes for our dancers.

Thank you for your generosity!

What Ballet Folklorico Means to Dancers

"Ballet Folklorico meant everything to me in my high school years. When we performed it allowed me a chance to really involve myself in my community and my own culture and really embrace that side of who we are.

...it was so much more than dancing and entertaining people. It was taking kids and teaching them about who they are and what they can do for the community and the strengths we have as individuals and as a team.

It taught us about so much of what we have... and what we can accomplish. It created confidence and that inspiration to go out and do so much more."
